I wanted to introduce a guest of mine to Michigan. The Crooked River Lodge was the perfect place to do this. Situated on the Crooked River, the Lodge had nearby trails, a great indoor pool and jacuzzi, as well as a roaring fire in the fireplace and an outdoor fire pit as well. Very comfortable with nearby restaurants serving fresh perch and whitefish from Lake Michigan. I would definitely return for another visit. Carrine Etheridge Monroe MI

The Best Western of Harbor Springs is AMAZING! The staff is friendly and will ensure you have everything you need for your stay and to make you comfortable. The hotel itself is SUPER clean, has awesome amenities such as a microwave, mini-fridge, pool, hot-tub and nice play set for kids. Beautiful cabin, very clean. Loved the showers, and especially loved the heat lamp/fan in the Master Suite. Calm week listening to the river from the balcony or back deck. Nights are so quiet and you can see all the stars! My kids and dog had a blast running around, enjoying nature/hiking. You don't get that in the city. We plan on returning!

This is the second time we have stayed here. Its a beautiful spot, great rooms, great staff, pool was so nice, food very good. Also very conveniently located. Highly recommend!

A great cabin to stay in for a weekend getaway. We had a great view of the lake and enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out at the water. Everything was provided for us so packing was easy. The staff was accommodating and happy to have us stay there. Would recommend it to anyone.

From phone call to checkin to room arrival to restaurant, everything was excellent. I loved the jacuzzi room facing the beautiful pond and river. The room was so clean and had everything I needed: coffee, frig, closet, shower gel, etc. Very clean and taken care of. You can tell this hotel is well managed. great restaurant/bar wth live music on fri night.

We have known about Stafford's Bay View Inn from our trips "up north" over the 30 years but never stayed there. That was our mistake before but never again. The staff was friendly, charming and very accommodating. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The view of the bay was delightful and allowed us to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. We enjoyed the hotel library and the comfy leather chairs to catch up on some reading. Not having TVs in the rooms actually turned out to be a wonderful...

This place was amazing! The attention to detail at this place is immaculate! The hotel keeps it’s history and charm with the old feel, but is a modern hotel with everything you would need. We had an issue with our room that they were unable to fix at the time, so they gave us a new, nicer room without hesitation. The breakfast ambiance was relaxing and made you feel special. Coffee and water was refilled consistently. Food was great, views were great, outside patio was beautiful and peaceful....

I should start by saying my boyfriend and I are VERY particular about hotels and had yet to find one we loved in Mackinaw City. Well that was until we found this!! I could not have asked for a better stay. Staff was amazing from the moment we arrived. It has the small mom and pop feel and is truly so cozy! Cleanliness was 10/10. I would recommend any and anyone to stay here.

Loved the room- large and the lighting was perfect. Loved the chaise lounge. Big windows. Perfect location downtown and right on the river. Very clean and super friendly staff. One of the best HI Expresses I've stayed at.

Cute little cottage. We were just passing through working. Naturally I picked a day the restaurant closed. Pictures were a little confusing on what you got but I was fine with the room for the price. I'd stay again. Bed was very comfortable.

I appreciated that there were people available on-site to help me with questions I had (instead of having to call an 800 number and speak to someone in a foreign land).
