"Our room at the top of the building was spacious, well-lit, clean, attractive, and offered a partial view of the castle (pretty at night). The large bed was very comfortable. The heated towel rack in the bathroom was excellent. We appreciated being able to open a window to get fresh air. For the first few days of our stay we were only able to get luke warm water in the bathroom. However, as soon as we reported the problem it was fixed immediately. "We have stayed at St George’s hotel many times but feel its previously high standards are slipping. At breakfast there was six dirty bowls and two dirty bowls the next morning. We waited 25 minutes for our cooked breakfast and the rolls on the first morning were rock hard. The evening meal choice was not great and expensive so we ate out both nights. Our bathroom tiled floor needed re grouting and had a badly cracked tile in, also the hair and body shampoo hadn’t been refilled which was...

"Service from reception to bar and restaurant was excellent. Parking was very close to the hotel. Restaurant food was nice and good portion size. Location is perfect. We had a sea view room 227 and it was lovely with the window open and listening to the waves. Very peaceful. Cooked breakfast and juice was excellent cant fault the staff or service. Will definitely go again . Had a lovely weekend Steve and Mandy "
