「Place hasn't changed much in the past 20 years. Staff is fine, but the place could use some serious help renovation wise. And even then, given the area it's in, that might not even be feasible. The only real plus is the Sheetz immediately next door. 」

「My wife and I needed a getaway weekend and this place hit the spot! It has what you need and then some. We both got to take advantage of the personal sauna and the massage chair and those were great bonuses. The hosts are quick to reply to any questions or concerns and very informative. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area.」

「This is a great place to stay. The cabin was beautiful and had a lot of beds for a large group. The kitchen and dining room were great for cooking. They also had a fire pit for making mountain pies. It’s off just enough from the road. It was a peaceful place go stay. I wish we could have stayed longer. 」

「My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We particularly loved sitting on the porch and listening to the stream and the wildlife. The place was as advertised. It was clean and neat. Everything was in good condition and working properly. The hosts are very welcoming, and communication was easy. I highly recommend!」

「Peggy was VERY helpful, by providing information in the room for Groundhog Day. Her communication was thoughtful (providing check-in information, a hand-drawn map of the surrounding streets and highlighting the parking, and a list of local restaurants in Clearfield). There was a kitchen and full-sized refrigerator, as well as soda / candy / chips available to purchase on the honor system (it was good for my kids to see that). This was beyond perfect, and I couldn't recommend it more. 」
