Vacation away from the cold!!

We have stayed in this area before. It’s easy to get too, lots to do. People are very friendly. Condo was perfect for us. Quiet building, well taken care. We enjoyed the balcony each day. Anything you need is just steps away. The perfect home away from home for a wk. thank you.

Romantic getaway

My husband and I had a relaxing time and beautiful beach weather…the patio after the beach was our favorite to have a glass of wine and watch the sunset…pool and property very clean…luggage racks and shopping cart available…Walmart and supermarket close by…we also enjoyed restaurants in Calabash about 20 minutes away

location was nice, very quiet with no screaming kids which is what we were looking for. place could use updated but overall nice. needs to replace the screen door so we could enjoy the ocean with the door open.. bed was comfy. overall, a nice place. will be back.

Lovely stay OCEANFRONT

My husband and I had a great stay at Carolina Reef. Convenient location, quiet building, BEAUTIFUL VIEW, nice pool, easy check in and check out, and great communication from the host. Would be nice to have a luggage stand in the closet and a smaller table on the balcony, and the mattress in the bedroom is past its prime, but otherwise a really relaxing stay. Casual, no frills, really perfect for a getaway. Recommend Goodfellas Seafood hut for non-corporate chain casual dining on Hwy 17, and parasailing on the beach - very close to the property. Since the building has fewer units than some others on the beach, the shore is less crowded. Would love to visit again.

Cleanliness was an issue

The location was great and close to everything. The furniture is old and stained it should be replaced or professionally cleaned. The fold out couch is very uncomfortable and cannot really be used. We had to go buy an air mattress to sleep on. The linens and towels were also old and stained. Unfortunately it was not the greatest of experiences.

Beautiful view!!

Everything was as stated! All except no washer and dryer in unit! There are plenty on property though! There were 2 of us and it was perfect size! My favorite was the view from the balcony. Everything was fantastic and clean!

Pretty nice cozy home away from home

It was located in a very good spot, everything was very clean. Nice balcony with a great ocean view. Pretty spacious for our little family of 4 and a half. Small walk to the beach we will be staying here again in the future.

Nice stay

The condo was comfortable and everything worked well. I did kill a large cockroach one night but didn't see any others in the room but did see several in the pool. The furniture could use cleaning as it is getting a little grimy.

A few blissful days of relaxation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very well taken care of and nicely laid out as far as the space between the units. Felt like we were alone on the fourth floor. Nicely decorated and the view was spectacular. Easy access to the beach is available on both sides of the building. Will definitely go again.

Great location

Unit was not very clean when we arrived. The girls got black feet just from walking on the floor. The sliding glass door is in terrible shape and very difficult to open and close. With that said. Once the girls cleaned the floor and we had maintenance show us how to open the door. It was a wonderful vacation. This unit has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The 4th floor balcony is PERFECT!! You feel like you're on the beach right at your own room. Obviously with the benefits of being close to your refrigerator and bathroom. The building this unit is in "Carolina Reef" is also wonderful. Fairly small very quiet building with ample parking and great beach access. Even with the rocky start. I would definitely book this unit again in the future. All and all. A wonderful vacation

I had an overall great experience! My only gripe is that the sliding door to the balcony is incredibly hard to open and close, as well as the lock does not seem to work. Beautiful view once you do manage to get on the balcony. Really quiet and not busy area, while still being close to a lot of sites!
