「I like this location as I’ve stayed here before. Bathrooms were pretty nasty with trash and hair everywhere. Not sure they mopped or cleaned the toilets before we checked in. There was also hair in the fridge? No dish soap or paper towels which was a little disappointing considering it has a full kitchen with dishwasher. Rooms could definitely use some new carpet as they were gross with stains everywhere. Living room chair was cut with big hole. Beds were fairly comfortable. Nice view of...

「Everything was great. Jordan at the front desk was so kind and helpful! The spa was wonderful. The resort itself was beautiful, and the amenities were fantastic! The only exception was The Wet Whistle - the restaurant /tiki bar there on site. They were awful! I’ve had better nachos at Taco Bell. And you don’t have $17 for them!」

「Unfortunately for the hotel, they had an issue with the fire alarms and sprinklers going off which led to me leaving my room hoping to work (remotely) in the lobby only to find the sirens and water was far worse there. It was almost 2 inches deep in the entire lobby area including the front desk as the sprinklers continued to pour from the ceilings with firemen all about and staff scrambling. 「We've be going to Sands Ocean Club for years. We love the fact that it's right on the beach and in a calmer part of Myrtle Beach. The kids love it for the lazy river and pools.」
