Checked in later than expected but I made sure to contact the resort to let them know. Once my family arrived we were giving keys to our unit. When I opened the door to our unit, I was disappointed because we did not get a remodeled unit. I phoned down to front desk to inquire about it and hopefully we could get switched, but the lady told me I would have to wait to speak with the managers Ashley or Grant in the morning, and she would make a note. Of course I never received a follow up call which was disappointing. Even if our rooms could not be switched, I would have like to at least spoke with either one of them as I was told would happen. Half of the pool area (Lazy river, water slide, kiddie pool) was closed off for remodeling and I don’t recall that being noted upon our booking but we still had a good time at the portion that was open. Definitely loved the activities they had available for the kiddos which included some FREE activities (snowcones, ice pops, Easter Egg hunt, and line dancing). There were also paid activities you could do with the kiddos as well. The food and drinks were really tasty at the outdoor grill…a little expensive, but I guess that’s expected when on vacation. We decided to purchase the $35 Easter basket to surprise the little one. She was very excited that the Easter bunny thought enough of her to make and bring her a basket (just warmed my heart). Finally we were able to take FREE pictures with the Easter bunny. Overall good stay

Great place and location. Clean! You can easily walk to grocery store, breakfast, broadway at the beach. We Found out when we got there that the kids pool, water slide, and hot tub was under maintenance. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time when booking, however it did not affect us much since plenty of other activities available. Our stay was wonderful!
