"Soooooo...I read reviews like crazy when booking trips so thought I would leave one. To set the baseline we are pretty easy to please and take things as they come. With that said use this info as you see fit for your personnel preferences. The staff at Sunset Beach were more than accomidating!!! Great personnel touch and always engaged!! Mario was our personnel butter and wow what a great person as an individual. Always asking if everything was ok. We had a couple small room maintenance issues...

"My parents stayed in an apartment nearby and this was very walkable. There is construction outside, but it didn’t bother us at all. Construction means improvements! Front desk was very nice and accommodating. Each room has a pitcher and cups with bottled water in the hallway. Pool is just right!"

"The good We really enjoyed the staff and the hotel itself. The bad. Not a lot of food options for non Mexican dishes and we had zero hot water in our suite. We talked to numerous staff and they said that there was nothing they could do. We also had to ask 3 of our 7 days to have our mini bar restocked. I know these seem like minor issues but we spend a lot of money to not have a hot shower for a week. "

"We enjoyed the Property by coming back after a few years not being there . Maybe it was the time of the Year that we seen way more Mexican Clientele with Families.Therefore we ask to be moved to a quieter Poolside & more peaceful. All in all we enjoyed our stay even so there started renovating & had a good time & would go back again "
