「The north end of Halifax is enjoying a renaissance and small restaurants, coffeehouses and interesting shops are plentiful. Larger buildings (condos, offices and stores) are now built where dilapidated houses once stood. It is an enjoyable area and very different from the touristy downtown. 「エアコンはひどい音を立てたためずっと切ったままでした。シャワー設備もH/Cの標記が逆だったりして随分と戸惑いました。部屋にはゴミ箱もなく共用部にもゴミ箱は見当たらず。部屋で食事をしようにも椅子もなく（古いソファが一つ）机もテーブルもないのでタンスの脇で立って食べるほかありませんでした。壁も薄く隣の部屋の笑い声がかなりはっきりと聞こえてきました。あと、テレビは点きませんでした。」

「No coffee in the room was an issue for us. That should be posted on the website. My husband rises at 5 and couldn’t get a coffee until 8 when the restaurant opened. For the most part, the staff was friendly. However the man on the desk when we arrived was not very helpful. I asked him if the tap water was drinkable and he said he didn’t know. I had to explain to him that it’s kind of important and asked him to find out. He reluctantly picked up the phone and asked. Not great service.」

「The property has a central location. For able bodied people, the boardwalk was max 20 minutes away. For those not able or willing to walk an uber or short drive would be necessary.」
