The location of the property was right near town, but still a little off the main street so it was comfortable and quiet. The home provided us with plenty of space for all of us (5 grown adults) to stay and hang out. Stephanie was great the entire time and provided quick responses along with recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again as I know I’d have a fantastic trip!"

"Great place to stay in southwest harbor. About 20 minutes from the busy town of Bar Harbor. Quiet neighborhood. Would recommend staying here and the host Ian was great with communications. Id only recommend more toilet paper (maybe 2 instead of 1) in the bathrooms."

"Honeybee is the perfect location for exploring Bar Harbor and everything it offers. The 2 parking spaces are highly valuable! It’s in a quiet neighborhood, so maybe don’t invite the loud friend or family member, at least not if you like to hang outside in the evening. All in all we had a great stay! The only reason it didn’t earn 5 stars for me was due to the quality of beds, but I have really high standards."

"This property was a lot of fun to stay at. It’s a charming, rustic two story cottage with plenty of room for the 10 of us traveling together. It’s 5-10 minutes from Ellsworth and 45 minutes from Acadia. We really enjoyed our time there. Our host, Jon, was great. Each time I contacted him, he responded almost immediately and was very helpful. All towels and linens are provided and there’s plenty of pans and dishes for cooking. "Just a nice place to stay, no real issues other than the thermostats were difficult to figure out, the kitchen roof leaks a little water when you shower upstairs, and the fridge shakes the house when the compressor turns off. Home owner was kind enough to mail me my souvenirs I souvenirs left, and everything was neat and tidy."

The property was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. It was located right near the Schoodic Point, a beautiful area of Acadia.
