"What a lovely historic hotel! We love all the little touches like the “classic” refrigerator and the modern creature comforts packaged within a lovely hotel with “old school” touches. Just what we needed. "

"I always book this hotel when I’m traveling south because the location is perfect. There are numerous stores and restaurants within a 5 minute drive. As a bonus, the staff, from the desk clerk to the housekeeper to the kitchen staff are friendly and helpful. "

"Hotel was clean, the room i was in was clean but the bathroom had loose hair in and on the bathtub. I had asked what time was checkout i was told noon, i had an appointment i had taken all my stuff but didn't check out yet, got back at 11:15 am and they were already in my room cleaning it with door proped open. "

"Decent accommodations for the price"

"I know this is a low-budget hotel, but it was especially bad. Ants in the shower; water damage on the baseboards; dips in the floor of the room (tripping hazard); dirty towels (stains and hair on supposedly clean towels); the sheets were melted; TV screen was low-quality and had a fuzzy picture; pool was closed for renovations; ice machine was broken; the list goes on. I would not recommend. The “savings” aren’t worth it!"
