「Lovely historic building - located in a small town, close to Caen, Bayeux (with its famed tapestry), Normandy D-day history sites. Very clean. Restaurant was great. They have a tennis court and a little farm with VERY cute bunnies. Only thing to note is that they don’t supply conditioner so ladies bring your own or let your hair get frizzy like I did. 」

「The location is safe and quaint. It’s staff and very polite and helpful. It’s very clean and the breakfast options are very good. The room is large and everything you need. They need to advertise their air conditioning is season dependent as when I went it was hot and the room air con was turned off and I was told it wouldn’t work until 1 June. Therefore I had to sleep with the window open which meant a lot of noise from different things. I perhaps would not have chosen the hotel had I known...

「This is an original building that was on the beaches of Normandy in 1944 and before, and suffered damage from off shore gun fire from Allied Ships on the day of the assault. The building is now a quaint hotel with a family owned hotel. We enjoyed our stay as we made a visit to all that is available in the area. All provided gave us a relaxing stay.」

「The room was small but perfectly adequate. Kitchen is OK, good microwave. Plenty of utensils though luckily I am tall as everything was in a high cupboard. Very nice little patio outside and the hotel is a short walk to both a Carrefour supermarket and Gold Beach. Good choice.」
