Good location but taxis did not go by the hotel with any frequency. Had to use Uber, which worked well. Construction scaffolding next to the hotel entrance hurt the appearance. Excellent service from the staff.

Most doormen are friendlier than the rest of the staff. Hotel is missing a restaurant for breakfast. But the reason I’m not coming back is the lack of cleanliness, I had a ripped towel hand, most furniture had stains of liquids. So disgusting!

I will say that the staff is very friendly and the hotel is located in a great midtown East location with quick access to the park as well as Rockefeller Centre and Grand Central. This hotel is a 3 star. Our room was terrible. It was located directly beside the gym and when people dropped their weights the whole room shook. This is bareable during the day but the gym is 24 hours and it disturbed our sleep every single night/morning. Bed was very uncomfortable and our telephone in our room was broken for our entire stay. Very disappointing. I don’t think our room (305) should be used for guests. The gym problem is unacceptable and we received no notice of this or any special consideration

i didn't realize when we booked that the restaurant and bar were closed. not a deal breaker, but we enjoy an evening cocktail when we return to our hotel. very close to subway stops as well which is a must :)
