The hotel is in a noisy area (bus stop in front and constant cars honking and driving by). Entrance is fine, like of a 2 star hotel. It did alarm me when I saw a sign in front saying they rent rooms by the hour also. So it made me feel like it was a dirty hotel/motel although I didn't know that when booking through Expedia. When you get upstairs it feels like a NYC apartment building. The room I got was not safe, did not have safety lock on door. Balcony didn't have safety lock either. The bedroom sheets had a hole from what looked like cigarette burn, and room smelled slightly like smoke. The bathroom was dirty -- toilet had #2 marks on the side of it. The wall next to the toilet was also dirty. What bothered me most was constant noise and yelling in the hallways. When I walked in I saw groups of teenage boys but didn't think anything of it. When I get to my room, that evening and night  I constantly have to stop my work because it sounds like yelling and like fights were starting right outside of my door. This made me anxious to even go outside to pick up my food delivery. This continued all through late night. I honestly wouldn't recommend staying here at all. I'm not one to leave reviews but figured I'd save someone's vacation this way. Pay the extra $50 to stay somewhere more decent. You will regret if you stay here. The anxiety and below mediocre stay is not worth it. Only ups is all the food places in the area and how close to trains it is.

From reading all the reviews I was very skeptical but as staying here by MYSELF it wasn't as bad as everyone made it seem. Yes the location isn't the safest but the bus stop is on the same block and the subway station is right down the street. I was out until 3-4am every night and nothing happened to me. There are homeless people anywhere you go, you just have to mind your own business. The hotel as a whole wasn't too bad. The heat is on 24/7. You don't have your own thermostat so I would suggest getting a balcony so you can leave your door cracked open as it gets hot fast. Overall for the price I would stay here again. I would suggest asking for room 605, everything worked and the balcony view was beautiful.

This has to be literally the worst hotel I’ve ever been to in my entire life. It needs to be shut down! It reeks of marijuana. People were hanging out in hallways like a party. The walls are paper thin. The rooms adjoin by a door that makes it seem like the neighbors are in the room with you. Completely no noise control. Between the next door constant sex noises and smoking, comfort was impossible. Music played loudly til 2am. When that settled, 4:42 am a loud banging next door with men shouting “FBI, come out with your hands up”continuously for 5 min. Then they jokingly realized they were at the wrong door. And banged on another door. This was on a SUNDAY! Teens roam the hallways all hrs of the night. It’s more like MOTEL/Brothel. I had to play around with my door to lock it. It would lock and unlock. Do NOT waste ur money or risk your safety. This place needs to be shut down or investigated.
