Close to the Sky Train station, which is one of the good features of this hotel, lots of Asian food around, especially at 74street. No refrigerator in the room, which is one of the problems.

Room was clean. Air conditioning was working properly. Wish there was a mini fridge in the room. Wasn't able to use the closet, too small (half a closet). The outside of building said there was directv. But there was only antenna tv.

The cleaning staff were amazing, the air conditioning was great. There are plenty of fast food places close by and a target to shop for necessities. The front desk clerks were there often communicating wasn’t the best but overall it was a good experience the bed itself seems to be not so clean as well as the pillows the view is amazing though.

We stayed twice at the Elmhurst because of its convenience to the 7 line and transit to LGA (bus #34) for an early morning flight. Our first room was fine, with an updated bathroom and nightstands with easily accessible power outlets on both sides of the bed. However, our second room (627, I think) had no curtain rod in the closet and none of the dresser drawers worked properly.

Cozy room for a weekend in NYC

I needed a decent place to stay while I explored the city. The hotel is a short walk from a couple subway stations, and was quiet at night. Beds were comfy and staff was great. So many great restauraunts around the hotel in Elmhurst as well.
