"Cypress Lakes resort is brilliantly located. The room we were in was just a little dated and tired (especially the bathroom) but still fine and comfortable. Having two single beds put together for the bed was also just a little unexpected. But the one thing which brought the rating down to 4 rather than 5 was that when we put the airconditioner on we started sneezing. On checking the filter within the unit is was completely opaque with dust - so it hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time - potentially years. We mentioned this to front desk who said they were in the process of getting them cleaned - but for it to have been left this long between cleans was really not acceptable - it's an immediate health problem once the filter is left uncleaned for this long. So, overall really good, but this was a significant dropped ball on cleanliness."

"Paid for the spa room but spa didn’t work at all. SOA was also dirty from previous guests - still had pubic hair all over the inside as well as mid length darkish hair strands. Unable to watch Netflix or Prime as it kept lagging out every 2 min - so ended up watching from my own hotspot using my iPad. This was our second stay - we decided to rebook as the first stay 2 weeks ago was good. Provided feedback but received zero comms from the establishment. We won’t be staying here again. "

"The garden view and fireplace were both lovely. Overall, the room was clean, but the carpet was a big turn off and in desperate need of replacement. Whomever was working the front desk was not friendly. We had to say hello to her first and before we could even get complete sentences out she jumped to “didn’t you get the text?!” It was not a pleasant start at all. We had been out enjoying our day and hadn’t taken the time to check our SMS/email. She could’ve had way better customer service about it."
