"The house in Castel St Elia is truly an authentic and unique place, the host is detail oriented, very accommodating and communicative. The house has everything you need, even a mini popcorn machine and dishwasher. We traveled with our dog and cooked dinners at the house and felt very comfortable. The view is amazing, so is access to town, many churches and hiking trails into the valley. If you are a true hiker you can take the 4.5km trail to Nepi which is the neighboring worth visiting."

"I’m from the west and although the air conditioning is not as powerful as ours over seas, this was truly a nice experience and would book here again next time. Staff were helpful, room was so clean and sleek, the balcony and terrace area were beautiful."

"Location is very centered from bus stops and shops but quiet at night. They have breakfast for a fee which we didn’t opt for since we went out every day, the rooms were clean, front desk staff was always helpful and kind, onsite bar is nice to use for when you just want a few drinks and night in. They have a small working elevator! The only thing I was missing was an iron for my clothing which I think you can ask for (I didn’t). My only actually complaint is that they seem to be renovating some rooms so 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed we were awoken by 8 am to the sounds of saws and hammering."

"I had the single ‘Vespa’ room and honestly value for money was excellent. The bed is bigger than a single more like a small double. Nice lighting level options. Great air conditioning (set it to ‘powerful’). Shower was good once I figured it out and even had a mist setting and multiple jets. The little terrace was a great place to relax before heading out for the night. Only one issue really, the tap at the wash basin sink is awful. Less than a dribble. The whole hotel was clean and looked recently decorated. Not premium fixtures but good enough for the price. Staff were helpful. Excellent location too. All in all very pleased!"

The Hoxton, Rome

"The Hoxton was nice. The only issue we had was that our room had a sewage smell. After the third day I told the staff. They sent someone and tried to say the bathroom needed to be cleaned. Being in construction I knew this was not a cleaning issue. They told me they would move us but could only do it during the mid day hours. This didn't work for us. We just had to deal with it for the next three. I would think they resolved the issue when we left."
