"Free parking "

"The room was clean and a good size. The negative was since you don't have house cleaning everyday we need bigger trash cans and please stock every room with 4 towels, we stayed three nights. Also a refrigerator should be in every room too. I understand the microwave (nice high end hotels have an area with a couple microwaves for guest to use). The elevator was having issues with excepting are cards not just me but other guest that were in the elevators. Why don't you have ice machines on every floor? Ice should be easy for ALL guest. The gentleman check us in was fabulous, friendly very welcoming. We love the location of Grand but the few issues really bothered us. Thank you Tammy Keith "

"We stayed in the dreaded room 221. It is one of 10 of Vegas’s oldest hotel rooms. The bathroom was so small, the old wood framed door couldn’t fully open into it, and my shoulders were almost as wide as the tile walled shower. But I loved this room. It was small, but charmingly decorated. Returning to the room was a welcome sight after our experiencing the highly stimulating Vegas surroundings. And whenever I wanted to experience the electricity of Fremont Street, I just opened our window, and looked out over all the life happening. The staff at the casino/hotel are friendly and personable. Valet parking is free for hotel guests. And as a guest you get benefits to the ultra trendy Circa hotel/casino right across the way. That’s a plus. The one drawback to room 221 is it is built over the casino speaker system. Two of our three early mornings were spent listening to the bumb of house music. Not sure why the casino doesn’t turn the music down, or to a mellower beat from 4-9 am. It’s unfair to not notify any guest checking into that room of this issue. However it didn’t ruin our time, or experience, and we will be happy to return to the Golden Gate again. "

"Had a problem with a broken refrigerator. I was so exhausted from the trip. The maintenance guy was so awesome and went way out of his way to put another one in quickly."

"Great location on Fremont Street. Free parking, clean room. Lucky to get a good view looking east down Fremont -lots of neon at night. Casino has a great vibe. Resort fee includes passes to Circa Swim "
