This hotel has some good things and bad things, good is the location and not noisy ( except one night with load birthday party lasting till midnight). But the rooms are not great and charging 3 euros a night for safe and it’s tiny not attached to a wall, when most don’t charge now. Also spent most of holiday with poor cold showers with low water pressure. Took 4 complaints to get someone to respond. They need to sort water problems and better customer service. Also standard of painting in rooms is poor and basic furniture.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very attentive, always happy to help with a smile.
We had some bed issues (soft mattress) but they did their best to help with that.
I do highly recommend this hotel and if we go back to Malta, I will not hesitate to book again.
Good job great staff and management.

Old character filled hotel in an excellent location within the walls of Mdina. The staff are friendly and helpful. Michelin 1 star De Mondion restaurant is a huge bonus. As expected the food is delicious and the staff are well trained in fine dining. Unexpected, the extra little tasting dishes sent out by the kitchen and a wonderful surprise birthday desert plate and card signed by the staff. Wonderful hotel and fantastic restaurant.
