"Very clean, modern, very nice hotel in a fantastic location if you want to enjoy the nightlife, cafes, bars, music along Strait Street. I only have one complaint. They pump so much "air freshener" into the lobby and public areas that it nearly makes your eyes water. It seeps into the rooms. Also the hand soap and lotion in the bathroom have got to be 50% perfume; and not good expensive perfume, the rancid cheap perfume that your aunt Bertha would wear. My wife made the mistake of trying some of the lotion on her legs and she nearly had to take a shower afterwards to get the stink off of her. Maybe it's something about Malta since we noticed the same type of overpowering "air freshener" in the three separate rides we took from the local Bolt ride share company. In any case, I would highly suggest that management squelch the air fresheners and just let people breathe normal air. And switch out the soap and lotions to something that is fragrance-free. Your guests will thank you for it."

Palazzo Rosaria Boutique Hotel

"We had the most wonderful stay at Palazzo Rosario in Valletta! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Our room was absolutely spotless and beautifully clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is unreal- right off Republic Street, the main street in Valletta, so everything is right on your doorstep. You genuinely couldn’t ask for a better location. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Yulia, who went above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable. She was so accommodating and helpful, from arranging an early morning taxi for us to even making us sandwiches to take with us. Such a thoughtful touch! The breakfast was also fantastic, with so many options — scrambled or fried eggs, sausages, bacon, hash browns, mushrooms, toast, fruit salad, cereals and pastries. We had a bit of everything and loved it! Thank you so much to the entire team at Palazzo Rosario for such a wonderful stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Valletta!"

"The cleaners did an excellent job, every day the room was cleaned tidied up, beds made and fresh bottles of water, shower gels/shampoo/moisturisers left. Staff helpful and gave good advice. A/C excellent and the breakfasts wonderful and a fantastic selection. The reception desk is not manned 24 hours of the day. The front doors are locked at 21.30pm, you are given a door code to tap in to enter. Take a photo of it on your phone because you are bound to loose it. There was never a problem for us. A great location too, close to everything."

"A gorgeous little boutique hotel literally a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Valletta. The rooms were spacious with a range of amenities (stocked mini bar, coffee/tea making facilities, filtered water jugs and excellent air con). The pool deck was a lovely place to relax after a day sight seeing and exploring and although it was small it was great to have a pool in the 36 degree heat. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, from booking taxis & carrying luggage to making cocktails. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. A great place to stay, highly recommend."

"Very clean rooms, staff were incredibly kind helpful, courteous and happy daily throughout the stay, balcony, collects a lot of dust from.outside including an unexpected gigantic Asian hornet, managed to get it out and away. Slight issue with the Junior Suite bathroom sliding door, was missing the door frame.plate, did report it was partially actioned. The street is very busy with tourists and general public throughout the late evenings due to the close approximatey to the main tourist roads with plenty of walking distance restaurants and cafes. Lots of music can be heard throughout very late nights would be the only issue which is a local authority issue not hotel."

"Brilliant wee spot with great staff. Breakfast very good. I was concerned about noise before travel as I was aware of building work in adjoining property. Hotel reassured us. Glad we did not cancel. Noise was minimal - bearly noticeable. No issue. Nice rooftop bar area with beautiful views to relax with a glass of vino."
