"Really worn out room and the bed was very uncomfortable. Could not sleep at all plus the bathroom was not properly cleaned."

"One night stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Shower was fabulous but the plug in the bathroom basin didn’t stay down. Very convenient location."

"We didn’t have a balcony. So no view. Our suite was lovely and maintained every day. The Menzies was close to all activities and lots of restaurants. The only set back was the internal blinds did not function correctly. "

"The property itself was great and Ray the Manager was extremely helpful. Unfortunately we stayed on a long weekend with various sporting teams and the noise at night was terrible till 2.am. Not conducive to a good night's sleep. On speaking to Ray about it in the morning he advised us that he had gone and spoken to the noise makers. Sadly it didn't help much we thak him for his efforts"

"Dismissive unfriendly staff who don't know how to respond to a guest saying "hello". Room refresh each day was lack lustre. I do not recommend this hotel. Do not be fooled by the charming photo of the old house. Yes, it's part of the hotel, but most of the place could never be described as charming. "
