It's hard to find. As you exit the station you go around the circle clockwise and go and go until you will run into a small convenience store with food and drinks, etc. The door is adjacent to the store. You won't find any sign, just some intercom names to buzz. Hard to tell which us the buzzer. If you can make it into the building (weekdays between 8 am-4 pm there's building staff at the gate-and a cat) turn right and go up the stairs two floors. The door is locked but there is a buzzer. Hopefully someone will open during the hours they tell you. It's better to contact them before you arrive to make some arrangements.
After you get in and get the keys all is fine.
It's close to the Historic Centre, many restaurants and shops. At night (actually all the time) be careful with your belongings, there's thugs who may try to snatch a bag or julery from you. My friend was jumped on by a thug and he snatched 3 necklaces from around her neck (she shouldn't have wore them in the first place) right before turning right from Corso Umberto I to Garibaldi Square. He attempted her purse initially but I was able to stop him by getting between them. So he just pulled the lases from around her neck.
The place is very convenient for intercity trains, metro, busses to airport.
Staff are very nice.
There's an elevator free to use outside hours but cost 10 cents during the week while building staff is on site.
