Very Close proximity to the airport, and the property is actually right behind the Nairobi National Park! (However, you can Not access the park from the hotel…you have to take a vehicle to the park’s entrance, and it is a Safari Experience Not to be missed!)
The rooms are spacious, modern, and well maintained, and the enclosed shower is Amazing! Breakfast was included, and they did a decent job of having a variety of dishes/foods to appeal to various nationalities. Fresh squeezed juices were always available, along with Still and Sparkling Water, coffee and tea.
The Main thing I did Not like is that there is a Nightclub called the Tunnel, located right next to the hotel, and the DJ plays Very Loud Music Every Single Night, All through the night until around 4am, so if your room faces the street, you will hear the music playing All Night Long Mercilessly. I was with a large group of travelers, and those of us whose rooms faced the street had trouble sleeping at night due to the Loud Music, while others whose rooms were facing the opposite direction were oblivious to this issue. Just make sure you request that your room does Not face the street.
Another issue of contention is that we attempted to obtain an extra keycard for our room on Several occasions, but were told by front desk Staff that no extra keycards were available. They kept telling us to “check back first thing in the morning” but we were met with the same resistance Four Days in a row to no avail.
