「There is not too much you could walk to except for the market, which is directly across the street. There was no heat (until October) in our room, but we did not need it. The whole Inn area is very well kept and extremely clean. To me the Continental breakfast was just so-so, but it is complimentary. The entire staff was welcoming, pleasant and informative. The jetted tub in our room and the “back porch” with seating were two nice touches.」
「This was a very pleasant surprise and a gem. The proprietors are artists and each room is unique, filled with special objects or art and furniture. The wonderful aroma of the gorgeous wood floors and fireplace transport you to a place calmness and serenity. 」

「Traveled from Philadelphia for a friends wedding and the hotel was just a 8 minute drive from the wedding venue. Hotel check-in easy & fast. For an Inn it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Rooms were cleaned so as hotel areas. Needs a bit of updating but for my first time in Connecticut and needed a room at the last minute it was okay.」

「Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Room was large, comfortable and inviting! Innkeepers Scott and Jodie attended to our every need. As a suggestion, I would add grab bars to he shower abd bath area, and have a handicapped ramp up to the building」
