The view and proximity of the beach was great. The beach was very clean, not crowded, and great. The property itself was quite run down. The pool is run down, the room is very outdated. The toilet wobbled on the base, the cable for the kids bedroom ran out from the air vent down the wall, draped on the smoke alarm, to the TV. The bedrooms were very warm at night and didn't get good air. There are no rugs or carpets, so there is no place to wipe off your feet of sand, ever. There was no broom to sweep up sand at all that inevitably gets to the room. The washer is old and got stuck on a particular cycle every time and had to be manually advanced. The clientele of the building, and Myrtle Beach in general is kind of trashy to be honest. About 75% of the time, while out on the balcony, I could smell weed. The positive is that the room itself is quite quiet and we could not hear any other residents.

Overall I liked the condo and would probably stay here again depending on the rate. There were a few updates/changes I would make If I were the owner. The room with the bunk beds has TERRIBLE lighting. Literally just one bedside lamp that puts off hardly any light, and the queen bed in that room makes a terrible squeaking racket any time you move. It also has no room or storage for luggage or clothing which was inconvenient. Having two bathrooms was very nice and the livingroom and kitchen area was just fine. I wish the ice maker would have worked in the freezer. Small patio was very nice, great view, very easy walk way to get to the beach and the boardwalk/promenade. The pool/hottubs were adequate but I felt they could have used a little more attention, the water started to appear pretty murky by the end of our stay. The pool bands were never enforced by anyone and neither were the no-smoking rules. Lots of marijuana smell throughout the building.

Killing six cockroaches between the kitchen and the bathroom. Been nice to know the outside door open into the bedroom. The balcony had no door. Will not recommend to anyone.

Weekend getaway

Everyone was friendly and helpful at the hotel and the coni itself was very clean! The bathrooms are small but have everything you need. The beds were comfortable. The view was GREAT!! Parking was a block over.
