Our overall rating lies between a C and a B-The place was clean and well appointed. Supplies were adequate. Although only one garbage bag was offerred for a 5-day stay and no mop was made available even though check out instructions were to sweep and mop before leaving. The door lock was a problem every time we returned from an outing. There were other issues I can share if provided an email address.

Dated but Comfy

Overall unit is nice and comfy but very dated and in need of repairs. Maintenance workers walked in on us without knocking wanting to inspect the deck. Said the office sent them over, allegedly because the HOA had filed a complaint regarding the deck. I can’t imagine this is SOP with Elliot management, but this was definitely a lack of communication. These poor guys could have been seriously hurt, under the circumstances. This particular unit has no elevator so if you’re on the 2nd or third floor so be prepared

Nice place to stay for the price

Apartment requires walking up 3 flights of stairs, which was only real bad when carrying a suitcase. We had to buy wine glasses and dish towels. Pool was cold and unusable ~ which was difficult as we could see the hotel next to us from our window and people enjoying their heated pool. Pest control man came and blind repair man came unannounced. We were 3 women and didn’t feel comfortable letting them in. Beautiful location.

Great location, older property

Check-in wasn’t great. I went at 3pm when the email said I could get the keys. I was told by a guy going into the office that he didn’t work there and to come back after I got a text. I went back after I got the text and no one was there. There was a sign on the door to call. After being put on hold 15 minutes, I had to unlock a box to get the key. The place was ok. It is older and the pictures seem to have been taken right after it was renovated years ago. It was clean and a great location. It was good for a long weekend for the three of us. I would point out that if you are a larger or taller person, the master shower will not work for you. It is a small corner shower with a low shower head.

Inaccurate description

The ac unit was leaking, we had to use pots and pans to collect water. There was mold throughout the rooms, the screen/glass doors wouldn’t stay shut, water was leaking through the glass door. There was dust on fans, picture frames and appliances. Tv remotes didn’t work. The access for parking was so small my vehicle barely fit.patio furniture had holes in the chairs, view was beautiful but do not recommend this place to vacation to ANUONE

Great Location

Our experience with this unit is a mixed one. So I will first start out with the pros: Oceanfront view from balcony, 2br, 2bath, with a washer and dryer, yes! Covered parking spot! A storage area with miscellaneous beach items to use (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc.) Be careful though, items are piled up and thrown in. A clean pool with lounging chairs, a few picnic tables, a grill, private walkway to beach from pool, rinse off area.So, here we go.... upon entering, the unit was absolutely filthy. Crumbs, wrappers, all over floor and counter tops, kitchen sink with food bits, fridge not cleaned out, one toilet not flushed, the other with hair on the seat, showers with hair in tub and surround, a heap of dirty towels on the bathroom floor, both beds with used linens rolled up on top, couch with food remnants on it, balcony window doors desperately needed cleaned, (also a side note the master bedroom balcony door does not open, but you can enter through the living room), garbage not taken out and left in trash cans without a liner, ceiling fans with dust, the bathroom sink vanity has veneer peeling off. Terrible first impression! The unit is in need of a major deep clean! So, not sure where the lack of communication was for the cleaning, but overall if we would have entered this unit clean and not had to clean ourselves for 4 hours after arrival, we would recommend.

Great Location - Run Down Room

The location is amazing (like less than 100 feet from the beach) but the place is really run down and needs a deep clean. The chairs on the balcony are falling apart, the electrical outlets are loose and not flush against the wall (didn't love that with a kid), there was dirt under the couches and we found dishes that were not clean. We called the folks asking them to fix the electrical due to safety issues. We asked them to come by anytime after the kids nap - they came by right when we asked them not to and then never came back to fix it.

Wouldnt recommend staying at tgis property

Dated property. Not listed accurately with amenities. Priced too high for condition of unit. Furnishing inside dirty and stained. Balcony doors inoperative. Balcony structure not real safe. Was listed ti hace hot tub and elevator. Neither were available with the property. Hot tub actually belongs to a neighbor unit that is not accessible parkibg was horrible if you own a larger vehicle like a truck drug use on property was abundant.

Myrtle Beach visit

The property appeared older than those around it; however, it was clean and well equipped. Beds were made up and all was ready when we arrived. Although the contract stated we needed to bring linens and paper supplies, the unit was well stocked. Appliances all worked great and it is right at the ocean with balcony. Would do it again.

Missed the small disclaimer about no motorcycle parking!!! May have been my fault but stuck in the hood place was terrible not beach front like what i paid for hige downgrade.. very unhappy with this service..

Property needs TLC

First the pros: this property is directly on the beach, and there is a washer and dryer in the unit. There is also a closet in the garage area with a lot of beach items (umbrellas, boogie board, chairs etc) which is nice. Now the cons: the entire complex smells very strongly like mildew. It is awful. Inside and out. The smell was so intense in the bedroom that my 5 year old stayed in that it made me gag. I'm not being exaggerative. There was *one* garbage bag in the unit for us. We were there for 5 days. Many of the light switches don't work. The TV remotes work intermittently. The AC unit in the living room blows cold air directly onto whoever is sitting on the couch, making it uncomfortable. We counted three roaches, so Lord knows there are many, many more. The ashtrays at the bottom of the stairwells have not been dumped in quite some time. Speaking of stairs, this building is three stories and there is no elevator. We had the privilege of staying on the third floor so each time we wanted to go to the beach or the pool (or bring home groceries) we had to lug all of our stuff up three flights of stairs. The check-in process was aggravating: I had received an email stating that we would receive a follow up email telling us which office to check into. That never happened. So, after we retrieved our rental car, I had to comb through my emails and find a phone number to call. They provided me with an address. The entire unit is desperate for some TLC.

Beach rental

It was very nice and I loved that it had items for the beach to use like chairs and umbrella. The only concern I had was we spotted some roaches inside unit and couldn’t get ahold of people to report. Great location and check in was very easy.

Great location

Unit was clean and comfortable and a great location. Our group of 4 included 2 cars but only 1 parking space allowed. This was very inconvenient to find parking for the second vehicle. Tried for 1 month prior to arrival to check on possibility of an additional parking space and Ryan would never return my calls, therefore, I am rating communication as a negative.

A Little Tired

Have stayed in numerous condos at Long Bay Dunes. This unit just seems a little tired. The veneer in the master bath sink vanity and the kitchen cabinet is peeling. There is not enough silverware and glasses. The wallpaper in the master bathroom is peeling and stained. Surprised to find a Foreman grill but it didn’t work. A couple floor tiles near the kitchen sink and refrigerator need replaced. The chairs on the deck have holes on the seating. The condo was clean but it is tired.

Atlantic Ocean

This property was in a great location. The condo was clean and had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay. We stayed on the third floor so I would definitely recommend it for people with teens and adults. The covered parking was a plus.
