"Clean room. Spacious. (Ok - king bed was 2 singles pulled together - not a one king-sized mattress.) Had room that faced the railway line - but was quiet overall - not an issue for me. All the staff I encountered were friendly and professional, from check-in through to check-out Onsite restaurant. Breakfast relatively basic but fills the need. Looked at the lunch and dinner menu - adequate, and would fill the need (didn’t use). Liked the fitness room - available 24/7 and has sufficient equipment to manage resistance and cardio workout. Dumbbells, yes, plus multifunctional machine, cardio such as treadmill etc. So, if keeping up with or trying a healthy fitness routine is your thing, you are covered. Location - good balance - walking distance to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station - yes outside of the heart of central Amsterdam but 1 stop away on the Sprinter train. Other options from the rail station, metro, tram and bus station to get to central and other locations. Airport - again sprinter train to and from. There may not be a lot in the immediate district, but there are options if you are looking for a quick bite of food or other items. The Breakfast Club and Marmaris Grill and other places near the rail station and a Spar convenience store. Plus other restaurants scattered around. So - clean hotel, friendly staff, great location as jump off point. Yes - I would visit again. "

"Our stay at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – Sloterdijk Station was, once again, absolutely fantastic! We stayed from March 18–30 and returned again from April 3–7, and each visit was just as wonderful as the last. From the moment we arrived, our check-in with Tanya was smooth and welcoming, setting the tone for a great stay. A very special thank you to Jalil Steel, the General Manager, who truly went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. Because we stayed for an extended time, we had the pleasure of getting to know many of the staff. We would like to sincerely thank Giovanni, Tanya, Sava, Sara, Sunashanna, Ronel, Romy, and Elena, along with the amazing cleaning and breakfast teams. Everyone worked together so seamlessly—it really felt like one big team dedicated to making guests feel at home. Our room was always quiet, clean, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the daily evening happy hour, which gave us the chance to connect with both staff and other guests. A highlight of our stay was celebrating my 55th birthday at the hotel. The team truly went above and beyond—with wine, flowers, gifts, and even a birthday cake. They made my day incredibly special and unforgettable. This was our sixth time staying here, and it certainly won’t be our last. Thank you all again for your hard work, kindness, and for always going the extra mile to make our holidays so memorable. We can’t wait to return!"

"Not as central as expected but a bus stop is right outside which brings you to centre of city. Hotel is more three than four star. Breakfast being included is a big perk. "

"Tiny room with a massive shower. Very comfortable bed and the room was both modern and clean. Extremely small space (you climb onto the bed from the bottom only and there is enough space for the door tomorrow and you need to move around it to enter) so more recommended for solo travellers. Location not central but easy enough to get to central within 30min walking and using ferry. "

"Stayed here for a week, kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, utensils, silverware, and also had a dishwasher. Very close (5min walk) from Sloterdijk Station so easy to get to central Amsterdam or anywhere you may need to go! Staff was friendly and helpful. One thing I'd recommend is bringing shampoo/conditioner as the one provided is a shampoo and bodywash combo. "

"No soap for bathtub. Fine if you only took showers. No outlet next to bed. Made it challenging to use a Sleep CPAC machine. Water kettle in room but no mugs only glass tumblers. Room fridge was not cold at all. Location was excellent next to train station. "
