"I’ll start by saying this property is charming if you love the great outdoors. I’d planned a last minute trip to visit family that lives nearby and the PGA was in town, so this was the only place I could find to stay. The reviews were good and I’ve been to the Great Smoky Mountains so I thought the cabin would be like that, right? Wrong!!! It’s much more primitive than anything I’ve ever seen but the kicker was when we found a 10 foot snake skin over the back door just as it was getting dark on...

"This is our 2nd year staying and absolutely love the place and location. Elizabethtown is 7 min away with restaurants and shopping. I would sit outside on the swing with my dad and enjoy the view. We saw deer in the pasture the other night! The grill works great! Thank you we definitely enjoyed our stay!!"

"The place was exactly as described. The area was decent with no issues. With that being said, there was a swarm of wood bees that should probably be removed from that area. They don’t bother us, however, if you aren’t familiar with them, you would have been freaked out. The only other thing I think that needs to be added is direction on what to do with the towels and bed linens that we used. Also, directions for the TV. We would stay here again in the future and would recommend it to anyone...

"I think this was our fourth stay at Cedar Lodge.....and we love coming back to it. It's our first choice when we are in the area and need a place to stay. We were in town for a family wedding. My husband, our three adult kids and one significant other all stayed a various number of days. The cabin was clean, has everything we needed, close to family and the venue and in a beautiful location. Very peaceful and beautiful. Owners are very responsive to any concerns or questions. "My wife, sister in law and niece stayed at this beautiful location while we went to the 150th Kentucky Oaks and Derby. The house was expertly supplied with all the necessary household items that make you feel at home. The remotes for the ceiling fans proved to be an entertaining experience.
