"Almost great. Lacking on quality of life amenities like vending machines, etc. Bland food as well. Food looked nothing like the pictures and was probably ripped from google images. Restaurant closed early and be prepared to drive 30 minutes if they decide to close due to being slow. You’re way tucked out there… so that can really mess your food plans for the night. Make sure to get a reservation. Refrigerator in the room was buzzing too loud and needed unplugging. There was a dead bug on our bed when we first got in, and candy under the bed from prior guests. Housekeepers were loud and inconsiderate. Everything else was pretty nice and a fun experience; having a hot tub on your balcony was very cool and main attraction for us personally. Hot tubs were very big and get amazing! Spa services and sauna and pool were also very good. Just really lacking on the small things."

"Honestly, the staff is the reason I choose to stay here. I wish management were more quid pro quo but front desk staff feel like friends, at this point. They’re great to my dog, Sir Watson, as well. The other lodgers all seem to have the same, laid-back & chill attitude. It’s walking distance to all the great places to eat & shop. A wine bar just opened around the corner, downstairs on the same block (before Pietro’s, where the old Subterranean used to be). Go see owner, Adolfo - he’s considering starting cribbage tournaments. Actually just added another night. Once, I nearly booked another, nearby hotel however, I could tell immediately the voice ‘greeting’ me on the other end wasn’t interested in getting to know the people and their dogs who would stay with them, tone was cold and standoffish. Book HRHotel. If you’re disappointed, I’ll eat these words. (It’s only a saying; pen and paper are as outdated as good manners.)"

"Parking easy, we were given specific instructions for our room. Room was recently renovated or updated. The bed was very comfortable. Our room was quiet but the property is close to 84. They had some rooms up front that are less expensive or for folks who don’t make a reservation ahead of time. The staff was honest and shared those rooms can hear some noise. I appreciate the honesty. I accidentally left one of my bras in the bathroom and the staff contacted me. I was able to pick it up on the way home. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!"

"Very comfortable. This is always a great choice when I’m traveling for business or passing through to other destinations. Food is good, staff are pleasant and helpful. A great place to relax and also enjoy the river views. "
