"We liked the location which was close to the park entrance. The view was great;we were able to view the sand dunes from our room. Room exceeded our expectations, it looked better in person than in the photographs. Had a variety of easy simple breakfast items to take back to your room to enjoy."

"The owners are very friendly and making upgrades to the property. It is like a nostalgic older road side inn. So has some character which we enjoyed. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The rooms are large parking is right at the door. Our dogs were very comfortable using the bark park area. We would stay again if ever in the area"

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. It’s super secluded and great for folks wanting to hit the Sand Dunes or have a few nights away where you can stargaze.The property was well stocked with kitchen supplies, which was a nice touch given how secluded it is — great to have everything you need for cooking and meals. Having full laundry access was a big plus too. The beds were comfortable if you like a firmer mattress.A few things to know before you go: there’s no AC, so bring your own fan if you want one (there are a couple in the bedrooms, but more would help). Nights stay cool in summer, but days can get quite hot. There are also loose dogs next door, so keep that in mind if you have a reactive dog, and watch your step in the backyard — there’s a fair amount of dog poop back there.Overall, a great property, and we’d recommend it."

"The house was beautiful, comfortable, and a great home base for my climb up Little Bear. The only small downsides were that it got pretty warm without A/C, and would have been nice to have a mini refrigerator to keep food and drinks cold. Other than that, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it! I will definitely stay here again."
