"Easy to find/check in after dark… their reception closes at 7pm and they left an envelope on the door with my key and instructions. The property seems very well maintained and secure (there’s cameras everywhere). My room was nicely appointed with vintage furniture and had a stained glass window. The WiFi here was fast. They provided some food for breakfast (nothing fancy). This was very convenient for my Rainier. I would stay here again."

"Decided to take off midweek and visit Rainier from Seattle for sunrise. Booked this the day before and once I arrived, was disappointed I didn’t have more time to stay a second night. The cabin was perfect and very clean. I felt comfortable as a solo female traveler staying here, and dinner at the restaurant the evening I rolled in was perfect after a long drive. I departed early for the park in the morning so I didn’t get to check the breakfast out, but I’ll be back!"

"Whittaker’s Bunkhouse was one of my favorite stays of the trip. The whole property is incredibly charming and well decorated, with a lot of history tied to Lou Whittaker and RMI. I really liked that it’s an older building with some character rather than feeling like a generic hotel. My room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything in the bathroom worked perfectly. Check-in was easy, and the location is excellent — right off the highway, very close to the entrance to Mount Rainier, and next to a grill with live music where I ended up eating both nights. Really beautiful property, great atmosphere, and an ideal base for exploring Rainier. I’d happily stay here again."

"Great stay at this wonderful B&B. Only 5 miles or so from park entrance. Everything we needed. Nice little fire pit and picnic tables on property. The breakfast the provided every morning was a nice touch before heading to the park. Would highly recommend."

"This cabin oasis was quiet, clean and just what this family of four needed after a day of hiking. I appreciated the extra details such as the coffee bar (both Keurig and a coffee pot fixings kettle), soaps in the shower, towels, robes/hot tub towels. The kitchen is small but has what we needed to cook meals and the full spice rack was very nice to have. The beds are comfortable (although I do wish I brought my own pillow) and warm with fans available in each and each room having its own heater. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet as well. Only 40 min to the park entrance made it a great place to stay for access to MRNP."
