「We loved our stay overall. The place was beautiful and spacious, and the architectural details and lighting were lovely. There was only 1 bed, which was a little disappointing to our adult children. Other places we’ve stayed in Japan have specified if a bedroom had only mats, but this listing indicated beds in all 3 bedrooms. It was still a nice place to stay. I only mention this to suggest that the listing could be more accurate if it was clear that only bedroom 1 has a true bed. 」

「Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood but close to multiple bus routes and attractions. The home was very clean and comfortable. Our host that greeted us was very friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend this location. 」

「My Family really enjoyed our stay and it was a true Japanese experience. The living and kitchen areas are a little small but other than that it was great. Just would cook meals for a large group. The ramen recommendation just around the block was great. Loved staying here. 」

「Stayed here with friends to visit Kyoto. Is a beautiful house and great area for seeing shrines. Definitely in a bit of an uphill neighborhood though, so ordering Ubers can be challenging. Otherwise recommend for any travelers! 」
