Great getaway

My boyfriend and I needed to get away from the city for a few days and we had a great time staying here. It rained a little bit, but we enjoyed the hot tub and watched dvds. Very much enjoyed fishing off the dock and using the fire pit. Would love to come back!

Anniversay trip

We had a much needed relaxing stay at the Rustic Ruby. It took one night to fall in love wirh the property. It was tucked away but still close to everything. Wgen we get the chance to sneak away again we would 100% rebook here! Beautiful property and wonderful hosts! Everything you beed for a getaway!

We absolutely love the Rustic Ruby. My husband and son fish all day, while I sit and swing and read my book. It’s so peaceful and has everything that we need. We have made this our home away from home for four spring breaks in a row. We are ready to book for year five!

Nice stay

The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The hosts were very responsive and checked in to make sure that everything was good for our stay. We really enjoyed fishing the pond, played cornhole & were not too far from the couple waterfall hikes we did.

Beautiful!

We all absolutely loved our stay here! The property was private and clean and had every ammenity you could need! We did wish there was a little more seating as the living room and hot tub only sat 4 and we had a party of 5;however, the stay was completely amazing and we would most certainly return!!! Also, the hosts were extremely helpful and very fast to respond to any questions and concerns I had. Would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect Getaway!

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing getaway, look no further than The Rustic Ruby!! Its the perfect location, just 15 minutes away from Blue Ridge. The home has everything you could need, from the kitchen tools to s'mores and hot chocolate supplies! We will absolutely be back!!

Tranquil Setting with Fire Pit and Hot Tub

Our stay at The Rustic Ruby was peaceful. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub each evening, overlooking the pond. No loud noises. Deer dining in the yard at dusk. Ten minutes from the train ride in Blue Ridge. Plenty of dining options there, too.

North Georgia Birthday Weekend

Our first time visiting the North Georgia Mountains! The Rustic Ruby was a great place to stay. My husband really enjoyed being able to fish off the dock! Everything was clean and comfortable. Would recommend!

Cute & quaint

Very quiet and cozy. Had problems with the hot tub buttons and a small bathroom but other than that it was very comforting. Loved the fishing dock and fire pit. Very enjoyable stay and the host was on it with communication with you.

Fall break family vacation

We found the property exactly as advertised. Entire family enjoyed the stay and are asking when we can return. We enjoyed the flexibility of being 10-15 minutes drive from choice of restaurants or tourist attractions, or just being able to stay and cook at cabin. Fire pit was a perfect evening habit that has caused us to resume the same habit once we returned home.

We had a nice time at the Rustic Ruby. It’s a very pretty property, with a small pond in back. I did not see mention of slow wifi in the property details, so we were disappointed that we couldn’t connect to wifi or watch the Georgia Bulldogs play. Firewood was not provided for the fire pit. Had we known that, we could have brought something with us rather than purchase there. We were not successful fishing as many others had noted in previous reviews. But, we had fun throwing a line in anyway. Overall, we enjoyed our time together, celebrating my dad’s 85th birthday.

My family of 4 enjoyed a short getaway to the Rustic Ruby as part of our Christmas celebration this year. If you're considering booking this property, do it! The house is super clean, it is well-stocked and has pretty much anything you can think of that you might need. The location is good - just a few minutes away from all the attractions and action of Blueridge. It was cold when we were there, but we enjoyed fishing anyway. The house stayed warm and we left with some sweet memories. I can't think of a single drawback to this property.

Perfect getaway!

What a great little cabin. I brought my father for a weekend away. Everything was clean and accented perfectly. Plenty of supplies, from towels to kitchenware. It’s pretty remote but Blue Ridge village is not too far away. If you’re looking for a quiet peaceful escape, this is the place. We spent time sitting at the pond and it turned out we shared it with a turtle, a couple of deer, & a family of 5 geese. They do say in the description that the WiFi is slow. It rained the first 2 days of our stay so the tv signal was glitchy, but the internet worked pretty well. I definitely would book this place again. Thanks to Dustin & Jasmine for sharing this place with us.

New Year's Getaway at Rustic Ruby

Rustic Ruby was a comfy, cozy charmer close to shops & restaurants & a great variety of hiking near Blue Ridge. ( We missed out on the Swinging Bridge hike as the gravel road was too rutted even for our 4WD Subaru.) We enjoyed the swings by the firepit (we've learned to bring a fire starter log and some collected dryer lint whenever there's an out door fire area) and the completely private warm relaxation in the hot tub with the spectacular star display as night approached. The lovely fireplaces kept us toasty in the evenings, too. We just cooked breakfast at the cabin. Would recommend you bring everything you need even though there are grocery stores nearby. ( We didn't bring salt & pepper :-( The cabin was spotless with plenty of towels and kitchen dinnerware and cookware. We appreciated the hosts checking in with us to address any questions or concerns! We love the area in the summer & all the related activities: tubing, zip lines, fishing, more hiking...so hope to return with grandkids in tow. The Rustic Ruby was exceptionally clean, comfortable beds and furniture. Sitting on the porches, swinging by the fire pit or fishing off the dock was just the comfy hug we needed. The cabin had all the accommodations with a few extra special touches that made us feel welcomed. Hope to return one day and enjoy this special gem.

We loved our 3 night stay! We caught and released over 20 fish! So much fun watching the squirrels play in the trees and seen deer everytime we left and come back to the Rustic Ruby!
