We left immediately.
1) the owner would not let us see the room unless we registered. This is when we found out that:
2) our "Executive Room" did not have a bathroom: the bathroom is shared (the room description included "bathroom or shower", not mentioning it was shared).
3) the main floor is a complete mess; there is no place to sit for all the junk piled up everywhere.
This is blatantly false advertising. There is no parking, the bathrooms are shared, the photos shown are taken in a way that hides the general mess of the place.
With many years of using Expedia, I have never come across something this bad.
The owner reimbursed us $100, but this is a small fraction of the amount he charged us.
The house is conveniently located near Concordia University and downtown. There is a metro line close by. The B&B is well kept and maintained by its owners.
I was upgraded for a larger room for no additional cost. Tony took good care of me by preparing coffee and breakfast every day. He gave me information about Montreal and how to get around.
I will recommend this B&B to my friends and relatives.
My stay at Repos & Manna was exactly as the earlier reviews led me to expect. My room was clean and comfortable, Tony is friendly and always ready with helpful tips, breakfast was tasty and different every morning, and it's close enough to downtown to easily walk without feeling like you're in the middle of the city. On-street parking for my motorcycle was easy enough (it would have been more difficult with a car), and Tony helped to make sure that I didn't forget to move on street cleaning day. When I return to Montreal I will absolutely stay at Repos & Manna again.
Nice b&b, good location, nice host, nice breakfasts, just a couple blocks to the metro station, a few more to saint catherine street, worked well for me for attending the rogers cup
This was a lovely place to stay! It was very walkable and close to lots of great restaurants and patios. Tony is very knowledgeable about the city and super helpful with maps and tourist attractions. Rooms are excellent, clean and comfortable with air conditioning. I highly recommend staying here.
Fantastic experience. The owner Tony is really friendly and made the stay a real joy. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent too. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting for business or pleasure.
Great host, good breakfasts, small but comfortable room. This is a bnb so does not have supplies like an iron etc. which is understandable. Fun place to stay with lots of engaging conversations with Tony.
I spent 2 nights there with my husband and our best friend. The room was very confortable, but the most important asset of this BNB is Tony. He is the most delightful host, giving advice on the city, preparing tremendous breakfasts and always happy to chat. We really enjoyed our stay and will be more than glad to come back later. Thanks again Tony, hope to see you again soon ^_^
Fantastic friendly host & chef. We were attending a Queen gig in Montreal, traveled from Ireland, and we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. We normally just do hotels not B&Bs this has made us question why?!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
B&B: Convenient location, Wonderful host!
We arrived on Saturday evening, and were met by our host, Tony. He took the time to orient us to the area, and gave us a map tour of the area, with suggestions on places to go and eat. Our accommodations were comfortable, but the room was very small. Wi fi kept going in and out, but other than that, it was a delightful place to stay. Tony is also an accomplished chef, and made delicious food for breakfast. If you stay here, you will eat well and relatively healthy, for Tony does pay attention to nutritional needs, as well. I would return for another visit if I come back to Montreal.
We felt very comfortable at the B&B! The breakfast was delicious on both days, the bed was comfortable, and we were so grateful that Tony sat down with us to explain the area when we first arrived. Although the bathrooms are shared, there are three, which means there's likely to be no wait (we didn't have to, at least!). The B&B is very well located, and parking is free on the street. Thanks, Tony!
as I set foot for the first time in this place, the owner started bickering because I did not tell him in advance at what time I would come in. Then, no air conditionning in the room (they advertise they have it). The owner promised to install it the next day but didn't. The bathroom door does not close properly, so it opens at unexpected times... Miserable experience, the worst I had in years.
This is a small B&B outside of downtown Montreal. It's very clean and neat, though our bedroom was small. The shared bathroom was very clean. The big draw is the owner, Tony, who is very friendly and caring.
Where to begin? Tony was a tremendous host, and it's clear he's on a mission to bring the hospitable spirit back into the hospitality industry. Not only do you experience a comfortable stay at Repos & Manna B&B, you experience what it's like to live at "home away from home".
As soon as you arrive, Tony takes the time to understand what the purpose of your visit is, mapping out the area, and planning out your stay. Room # 2 that I stayed in was very comfortable, and could easily accommodate 2 people.
Breakfast's in the morning are excellent, prepared fresh by Tony himself (there's nothing this man can't do -- literally!). He always makes sure that you eat a different breakfast any morning, and you're always in for a tasty treat!
If you're looking for the 5 star experience, at a 3 star cost, Repos & Manna B&B is the place to stay. Would definitely book again.
