「Stupendous rural location. Entirely walkable from the railway station and to various supermarkets/boulangerie although perhaps slightly easier with a car. Very approachable owners, together with a friendly dog. Pure chance that we managed to catch the owner early afternoon, because the official check-in was from 5 pm, but we had no knowledge of this because Hotels.com had not included it on their website! Very clean & clutter-free & definitely recommended :-)」

「At first, we were surprised to find that the accommodation is attached to a senior residence. However, it turned out to be a really nice place to stay. The apartment was much bigger than we expected, clean, and comfortable. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the Cognac houses and the downtown area, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Unfortunately, the air conditioning broke down during our stay, but aside from that, we had a pleasant experience.」

「Very quirky old farmstead plenty of antiquities from another era on display .Cheerful chat and greeting from our young hostess .Special treat to enjoy the beautiful fresh water of the swimming pool .First morning had an interedting breakfast chat with an elderly gentleman .There were never any of the stated viennoisery items available .I have dietary problems and it was obvious from breakfast on day 1 this made a problem for them .By day 2 we saw no one at breakfast on day 3 the orange juice...
