「We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house . The grounds are huge and full of surprises . We enjoyed the pool and hot tub but gave the sauna a miss! There are plenty of lovely places to visit in the area and although the house is up a quiet forested hill it is not remote and has all the shops you need within a 10 min drive. The owner was easy to contact and very helpful All together a great stay.」

「A lovely break - the house was pretty much as described.The pool is great - the outside eating space is fantastic and there are 3 big fridges to keep everything cold. The living accommodation is great and it really is a lovely house. Tennis court is in good nick - but bring your own racquets and balls as the stuff there is not great.Thierry - who sorts out any issues was great and really responsive. A few small negatives - the oven is pretty useless and I see that previous reviews have...

「Nous avons passé trois jours entre amis, le logement est super, l'endroit est très calme, éloigné des autres maisons : c'était génial. Pour un week end entre amis : c'est l'idéal.Canoe, karting et balades à proximitéLa communication avec Léanne était impeccable que,ce soit avant ou pendant le séjour, qui était très réactive à chacune de nos questions.Merci pour ce super séjour et à bientôt !」

「Maison et accueil très agréable. Nous étions 9 et avons utilisé les 5 chambres. Au calme, avec quelques commerces au village (épicerie, traiteur/boucher, pain, restaurant). Accès très facile à la côte en voiture. Manque juste un petit livret avec les infos importantes/utiles à proximité : médecins/commerces, activités proches/recommandées, bonnes adresses des propriétaires ... Nous recommandons +++ cette location ! Et vous souhaitons une bonne poursuite de vos projets de rénovation !」

「Super week-end en famille. Nous avons pu rester ensemble grâce au nombre de chambres. Malcom est accueillant, discret et disponible. A refaire et je reviendrais.」

「We have just returned from a brilliant couple of weeks at La Roche. The house and setting is lovely and so peaceful. We loved sitting in the garden or by the pool and listening to the birds. The house itself sleeps 8 and upstairs is a/c which was a relief from the 34 degree heat. Pool was clean and large enough for all the kids to play. Nearby to Bergerac with lots of easily reached day trips. Would definitely return. 」

「This house was charming, and we loved our time there. It is an excellent base for exploring the Périgord and also an excellent place for sitting outside in the evenings with a glass of wine. The kitchen can actually be cooked in and has everything you need. The view from the house is lovely. Florence is great and helped to get us settled, and we could not have asked for a better stay. 」

「Propriétaires très sympathiques. Le gîte bénéficie d’un parc arboré (où on peut également garer sa voiture) et d’une piscine et d’un jacuzzi. Idéal pour se ressourcer. Tout confort (lave-vaisselle, lave-linge…) et salon de jardin avec barbecue. Expérience positive」

「We stayed at La Vieille Ferme at the end of June 2025. We were four couples and an infant - myself, my wife, our three children and spouses. We loved the setting, the area, the house and the facilities. Jo was an excellent host and made us very welcome without intruding. We would happily stay again!」

"I was shocked that there was no tissues. I had never stayed in a hotel with no tissues.. I stayed at 1st floor and I constantly hear ppl walking at 2nd floor. Enough hot water but no door so it was difficult to take a shower. Very thin towels I will never stay here again."
