The opening at the lake at the end of the trail is very small, and heavily brushed in so you can’t see much of the lake. The beds in the cabin were pretty bad, with the advertised pull out couch not having an actual pull out mattress on it, but rather a 3” foam mattress topper instead. You could feel every bar on the frame through it, and the head end sagged down. When...

「They were flexible about our later arrival after a minor travel snafu and cell phone text messages being uncooperative. It's a lovely off-the-beaten-path location and totally perfect for the Ren Faire crowd, too!」

「They had just moved the cabin and had sewer gas coming out of the pipes, dead bugs all over the stove and kitchen. A hole in the floor. Rude neighbors that blasted music into early morning hours. No dumpster to dispose of trash. Furniture was in poor shape and the bed was like sleeping on a bolder. There was mold on in the ceiling in the bathroom. We couldn’t come and go as we wanted without someone staring and watching us or asking what we were doing there. Absolutely horrible experience and I...
