A House From Out of This World!!!!

This house was specifically built with the idea of making it something that would not be found in any other place. The round structure placed on stilts and the floor to ceiling windows give you a wonderful feeling of spaciousness. Themed based on the moon all furniture and decorations are handmade specifically for this house and will hopefully give guests an out of this world stay.

Built with and open space concept, the kitchen, dining area and lounge areas are all together. There are three bedrooms each with queen size beds and two full bathrooms one of which has a bathtub. The house also has a laundry closet and a huge balcony.

The house is located on a large property, there are other rental houses on the property but out of shouting distance to provide each with privacy. Just up the road from the property there are several restaurants, a small supermarket, art galleries and souvenir shops. Also in the area there are several attractions such as private reserves, a butterfly garden, night tours and others.

Fun jungle stay close to everything!

Our family loved staying here. The space theme was very fun for our young kids to explore. The location made you feel like you were in the jungle, and we had some bird wildlife sightings from the porch, but is actually very close to the main area of town and all the main activities in the area. Daniela was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful property in the mountains… somewhat of a challenge to find! Dryer broke while we were there and the host was very helpful in making sure we left with dry clothes!

Our boys loved the moon themed house. Very whimsical and special. Had everything we needed for our stay. We loved walking on the trails around the neighborhood and exploring the park. Close to town, but peaceful and away from the crowds.

Pretty treehouse with amazing windows

My family and I spent two nights here and it was great. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Communication with the host was magnificent. She even helped us set up massages and a canopy tour. Having the washer and dryer was also amazing. Highly recommend.

It was an amazing stay. The house is great in the middle of the forest. We had the pleasure to see coatis on the trees in the morning. The house in spacious and very clean. The host, daniella is extemely responsive, nice and super helpful. I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful home in the perfect location

I wish we had been to stay longer in this home. The pictures did not do it justice- it is so much prettier in person! It was the perfect location to enjoy Monteverde. We will def be back the next time we are in Costa Rica :)

Really Amazing Stay

This is an amazingly creative property in the middle of the rainforest. The house itself itself is extremely creative and luxurious. Every bit of it is done creatively in a one of a kind decorating style themed on space. The setting is in the middle of the rainforest and we saw lots of wild animals each day around the house, including monkeys, Coatis, Acutis, and numerous birds. Danielle was very responsive and helpful. Although the house is located at n the woods, it is only a few minutes drive from the main road and a grocery store. Breakfast can be ordered to be delivered. It was really a great and very special experience for our whole family.

Peaceful respite in the tree tops

Daniela was such a helpful and gracious host. Helpful pre-arrival package and great communication. She booked tours for us, found a nail salon for some emergency repairs ( yay Bella’s beauty salon) at the last minute. The house is perfectly appointed and the listing description accurate. The house is alone in the tree tops but so close to town but you would never know it.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The decor is quaint in a tasteful way with whimsical art mixed with science. The kitchen was perfectly functional with everything needed to make breakfast and the wifi remarkably reliable. The beds were quite comfortable making our rest easy. When we had a minor issue (power-outage), the host was responsive and solution provided in a timely manner. When asking, we received timely and good recommendations to take advantage of the many restaurants and excursions available in the area.

In the trees.

We loved our stay and birding from the deck was amazing. The place was very clean. The road down to the house is rough and due to it's remoteness our guides couldn't pick us up; We had to walk up the road 10 minutes. It was a 20 minute walk to the grocery store - having your own car is very helpful for this location. The only spice in the kitchen is salt. The chairs at the kitchen table and in the living space are impractical and uncomfortable. A couch would be a great addition.

Super cool space- themed house

Our stay at the Monteverde house was great! The space theme was cool and included details throughout the house from bar stools to sinks to lights. We could see wildlife from the windows in the early morning. The house is also within walking distance from town, so we could walk to restaurants and bars rather than drive. There is also an awesome butterfly garden just around the corner!

This is an amazing place to stay. There has been great care in designing a space themed home where the beds are comfortable, the wildlife are abundant, and it is very private. We stayed a week with our adult sons and felt right at home. The owner was responsive to our questions, helped us get back on track when we got lost in the night, and did an awesome job of making sure we felt welcomed. A couple of practical notes. This home is in the jungle and it is best to arrive during the daylight; we got lost because it was dark and we had no idea where we were going. Again, this home is in the jungle; you will see critters in the yard, and find surprises in the house....while they are NOT poisonous, we did extricate 3 scorpions 🦂🦂🦂 from the kitchen and bathrooms. Don't walk barefoot in the dark. The theme is lovely and carried out in fine details such as constellations on the bedroom ceilings and planet shaped chairs. These are great if you are young and agile; in our 60's, we had a challenge to be comfortable "lounging" and sat primarily at the table. The "lounging" furniture is low to the floor and we struggled to get out of it. The beauty and location of this property outweigh these concerns for us. We would definitely return here if we're back in Monteverde/St Elena.
