「The location in old town was excellent as was the amazing sea view. The staff was lovely and helpful. Unfortunately, the bed had a top sheet and no blanket/duvet. There were comforters in a closet but we had no idea if they were previously used so did not use them. The towels were subpar and had a few holes in them. Our air conditioning never really kicked in and it was hot. For location, staff and view I would stay there. Know that other things in the room are not 4 stars.」

You can get a Bolt ride to local restates are not far. Their property is very clean and close to the ocean. You can get pick up for some activities others, you need to find a ride. 「Breakfast daily was amazing. Huge variety of options and always a great start to the day. Location was perfect for us. It sits on a hiking trail with a beautiful beach (Albandeira). It’s small but private. Some days the water was rough but others it was fine to swim. Rooms were clean, small but had everything we needed. Our only wish is that staff were a little friendlier. Maybe I’m just used to friendly Canadian culture and this was noticeably different.」

「Nicely located with a great pool and garden with plenty of loungers and parasols. A short walk from a few beautiful beaches and 5 or 6 very good and restaurants/bars than are reasonably priced. Staff are very helpful and welcoming - not once did we see a member of staff walk past an empty glass or piece of litter without stopping to pick it up and bin it.
