This apartment was great. Very convenient to the beach, train station and restaurants. Public paid parking is a 2 min walk adjacent to the beach. The host made check in very easy. Messaged us with the process and sent a video of how to exactly get to the property. The view from the property was amazing. During the day beautiful beach view, night time we saw plenty of stars and the silhouette of the mountain side. The only thing I would caution (no fault of the host) is how many steps to the property. 108 steps according to my 9 year old. Might not be ideal for individuals thats have difficulty with stairs, young children will definitely need to hold someone's hand going up and down. There are no rails, so falling is a possibility. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect anniversary trip for our family.

Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend this apartment. It was very sparsely and uninvitingly furnished, there were cobwebs everywhere, the towels were stained, and the kitchen was almost completely empty. For four nights, there were only two rolls of toilet paper. Multiple messages were barely, if at all, answered. The worst part was the check-in: the key got stuck in the box, and we were left standing in the rain with our luggage. Despite calling, no one came. Only after about 30 minutes were we told that there was a spare key. Without the help of a stranger, we wouldn't have known how to get into the apartment. Especially in a situation like this, you expect a host to be reachable, take responsibility, and help their guests. Instead, we felt completely abandoned Cleanliness, amenities, and especially the service were utterly disappointing. We definitely wouldn't book this apartment again and can't recommend it. Misleading listing, unsafe, and poorly maintained — book elsewhere DANGER: The balcony railing is falling apart, with mesh held on by electrical tape. There's even a posted notice saying the owners accept no liability for injury or death related to it. A real hazard, especially with kids. "160 steps from the beach" is misleading — it's 160 stairs straight up the mountainside. You'll haul yourself, your family, and all your luggage up a steep climb every time. Rough for anyone with mobility issues or heavy bags. The unit sits above a train tunnel: noise like a jet landing every 20 minutes, roughly 5 AM to 11:30 PM. Not disclosed. Advertised amenities don't work. The TV is a 14-inch monitor and dead. The washing machine was full of moldy, foul-smelling water — unusable. Everything is dated and behind on upkeep: cracked toilet seat, an unusable shower, ~5-inch hard spring mattresses that are extremely uncomfortable, no blankets (one thin sheet per bed), and old, unclean fridge and cooktop. Customer service is nonexistent. When I asked for help, I was told they were too busy because it's peak season. Between the misrepresented access, dead amenities, relentless noise, and a railing the owners themselves warn could cause injury or death, I can't recommend this place. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

This is for Americans: First, plan on paying $40 a day for public parking, as there is no parking at the apartment. Second, plan on hauling all of your luggage up 98 stairs (yes I counted). It is not fun if you have a lot of luggage and/or it is heavy. Third, the trains run right behind the apartment and you can feel it shake the house every 20 minutes. Lastly, if there are people upstairs, you can hear them loud and clear! House was clean and okay, but definitely misleading in the advertisement.
