"The property itself is beautiful and provides expensive views of the sea. However, within five minutes of our arrival, we were asked if we needed towels )um, yes?). We were then charged 10 euro for a few threadbare towels. The screens were taped together and ineffective against mosquitoes. We were told not to drink the tapwater at the cottage and not even one small bottle of water was provided to hold us over until we could get back to town. Cottage needs maintenance and minimal stocking."

"We had a fantastic experience at this property. All the booking and payments went very smoothly and we found the property easily and were met by Elisetta. The location is absolutely stunning!!! Beautiful views from the terrace facing onto the sunset every evening! The pool and beach facilities at the hotel were also great, for both us and our kids (age 11 and 8). The property was also well equipped with everything we needed. We had an absolutely fantastic holiday and would love to come back...

Note for younger families and people with difficulty walking: this is not an easy walk down to and up from the beach. There is a great sandy beach about 35 min away by car (Feniglia) as a fall back option. Amenities include oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, stove, nespresso machine, pizza oven and wood fired bbq... Note: no microwave, water boiler, toaster. No AC as indicated. Very nice...

But there's more to Lucia's house: extremely clean and well-equipped, simple but tastefully decorated and comfortable, we had an idyllic stay. The pool is fantastic with amazing views. The property is great for kids, as there is a kids bedroom with lots of toys and books. We had some issues with the air conditioning and plumbing, but the host was incredibly responsive and everything was fixed very quickly."
