「We found out quite late we have no hot water. We called the staff who said they'll see what can be done and call us right back. They never called.
I the morning, when we asked again for the water to be repaired, they tried a few things and said they should be OK in about 10 minutes. We waited 30. Nothing happened, so we gave up.
Also, the closet door was missing a screw and the door came apart. 」
「We had the hayloft that could sleep 3 but was a win for us as a couple. It was in a out building, with easy access to the garden, bar and dining areas, but was a bit difficult to get suitcases over the gravel pathway. Very quiet, lots of space and windows to open. The restaurant meal and breakfast was fabulous.」
「A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens.」

「Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.」
