「The property is very old and in need of maintenance. The hallways and room need a fresh coat of paint and some of the fixtures are broken. The stairs are very steep and there is no elevator so the elderly or disabled should stay elsewhere. That said, the property manager Bernadette is very nice and helpful. 「We enjoyed our two night stay at the Carriage House. Our room was attractive, very clean and had a little porch off of it. The delicious breakfast had a lot of variety and the staff was very helpful. We loved the location! It was only a block from the beach and near town. A great place to go and relax! We highly recommend it!」

「The bathroom fan was making an awful squeaking noise.
Also we came with an infant and were put on the 3rd floor walk up all the way in the back and had to constantly carry heavy belongings up and down the stairs.
Pictures were misleading about the room which was tiny.」

「Thank you for such a lovely stay! We were impressed from the moment that we were greeted! The staff was attentive and friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean! The location is amazing as it is a brief walk to the boardwalk and downtown Asbury. I will stay here again.」
