"The hotel is in a great location, about a 15-minute walk from the centre and close to bus stops. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The rooms are quite basic and the bathrooms are pretty small, but it didn’t bother me. We stayed over a weekend that seemed especially busy, as accommodation across town was quite expensive. This was one of the more affordable options, so while it felt a bit pricey for what we got, it was probably in line with everything else at the time."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit tired but our room was clean and had everything we needed. I couldn't get the TV to work but that wasn't much of a problem. There was a loud whirring noise on and off on the second night woke us up but it did stop eventually. The hotel was reasonable priced and close to the aquatics centre where my son was competing. "

"Would not stay again. £179 for a night. Images and reviews do not match experience. Needs a good clean. Rooms very very over priced. Breakfast cold and limited selection. Waiting for food to be cooked. No cutlery had to search. Staff cold and unwelcoming. No one speaks or checks your ok. Very cold unwelcoming atmosphere. Truly disgusting "
