Welcome to The Gate House, a beautifully decorated lakefront 4 bdrm, 3 bath home on Smith Mountain Lake with easy access to a private waterfront and dock. You will enjoy spectacular views of the main channel from our quiet cove with plenty of deep water to park your boat as well as swim, kayak, or paddle board. Ten minute access to boat rentals, grocery store, and restaurants! Enjoy your time with family/friends with two levels of entertainment space; something for everyone!
The main level of the house has a fully stocked kitchen that will meet all of your cooking needs! There is seating for four at the island and seating for eight more at the dining table! Enjoy views of the water from almost every room of the entire house! The Main level also has a bedroom with a king bed, large closet, and a bathroom with shower and whirlpool tub. An additional full bathroom and queen bedroom are also on the main level. Enjoy a quiet cup of coffee on the private master bedroom deck or enjoy dinner with friends and family on the main upper deck with table and grill.
Downstairs, there is a large entertainment space with TV. There is a ping pong table and foosball table and plenty of games, puzzles and toys for all ages! Another king bedroom is downstairs with an attached full bathroom as well as an additional queen bedroom. All downstairs bedrooms open to the large lower deck with comfortable chairs, table, and a fire pit!
It is an easy walk from the deck to the dock. The dock is in deep water for your boat with a large table! There are kayaks and a stand up paddle board for you to use during your stay and life jackets for all sizes! Our private cove makes swimming and enjoying the water easy and safe for everyone!
