"Everything was great except for the mattress for the particular room where we stayed. The mattress was worn out and you could feel it. Very uncomfortable in any direction we tried sleeping in. My only complaint. Maybe they can consider renewing their mattresses. "

"Conveniently placed at the bus station from Athens. The staff were nice. Clean room with view of the Monemvasia itself. Quiet room despite having a bar on the ground floor. Very good value for the price."

"We did not actually stay at this property. I was notified that it was closing for renovations and our reservation would be honoured by another local hotel the Akra hotel. It was great. Staff helpful with all requests. "

Could theoretically walk into town, but narrow highway with no sidewalks so better if you have a car."

"This property within the walls of Monemvasia was beyond amazing. The character alone, proximity to the square and restaurants along with a private courtyard was beyond our expectations. Just a flight of stairs below is a swim area, so unique that you have to say you’ve done it! Be sure to direct message the property before you arrive, they will make sure to greet you and arrange a porter! The stairs are a lot so pack smart and light! We drove and got lucky with parking … but there isn’t a lot! ...

"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The area is gorgeous!! One can walk everywhere. I loved the view of the Rock from the balcony. The beds were not very comfortable. I had great difficulty finding it at night as the sign is difficult to see in the dark."

"Incredibly charming hotel! When I arrived the lady at the front desk explained that only 2 out of 3 rooms I’d booked were ready, but she very quickly chatted with one of the cleaning ladies and got it ready within 5 minutes. Very seamless check in, and the rooms are soooo cool! They are all very different from one another each with their own charm. The rooms have small kitchenettes with a few beverages for guests. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to visit Monemvasia. It is also quite close to the front gate so it is ideal for those who don’t want to walk too far to find their hotel."

Fantastic Rustic Hotel

"What an amazing and authentic establishment, Very hel staff, good breakfast. The location is very good, near the entrance to Monemvasia, and the view from our Terrace/ balcony was incredible Thecroom was very pleasant and large, bathroom a little small, but very rustic."
