Situated almost immediately by the bridge to the island, AKTAION Hotel was quite comfortable, and well positioned for restaurants. My room was one of the smaller ones, but it’s balcony faced the island and the sea. I would most happily stay there again if the opportunity occurs.

Wish I had stayed another night at least, nice room and balcony, decent bathroom. Modernised quite well - decent value for money. Great location and view. Additional cost breakfast not bad. One of the bins has not been emptied. Strange that the restaurant below called the same is not connected and a separate business, internal door blocked off.

Small room but great location if you’re just staying for one night to see the island. Room gets a little noisy in the evening as there is a pub downstairs. Other than that it’s a value for money place to stay.

A killer view...and an easy walk.

This hotel has the best view of "The Rock" in the entire area. It not only has a lovely little taverna out back but a lot of the locals hang out in the front--a perfect mix of tourists and townsfolk that you don't often get while traveling. Also an easy walk to Monemvasia.

The hotel is just at the end of causeway, with a wonderful view of sea and the Rock. The reception is very friendly and helpful, providing us the map and info of Monemvasia. Room is spacious, but the bathroom is small.

Very basic but it seemed clean. Saw a few ants on my bed but slept fine and didn’t have any insect bites when I woke up. It’s walkable to the main part of Monemvasia across the bridge and they have parking. Old style keys. Not bad just haven’t seen those in long time. For the price I would recommend
