"We had an overall enjoyable stay at Eganridge. The property is beautiful, the lake views are stunning, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the restaurants—the food and service were excellent, and the team was very accommodating with our baby. That said, there were a few disappointments, especially considering the premium price. The cottage could have been cleaner, and details like mouldy caulking around the bathtub shouldn’t be overlooked at this price point. The biggest issue was the pool. It’s advertised as a resort amenity, but it’s actually a cold plunge pool restricted to guests aged 12 and over. This wasn’t made clear on the website or social media, and it was one of the main reasons we booked, so it was disappointing that our family couldn’t use it. The beach is lovely but quite a long walk from the cottages, and a shuttle or golf cart service for families carrying beach gear would make a big difference. While the beach is groomed daily, there was also quite a bit of goose droppings. Overall, we had a good stay and would consider returning. With a few improvements to cleanliness, clearer marketing, and more family-friendly amenities, the experience would better match the price of the resort."

"The cottage was lovely, clean and bright. Thank you for leaving some water for us to use. We stayed during the middle of a heat wave and even without air conditioning, the ceiling fans in each bedroom worked well. We enjoyed our stay."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely loved our stay! The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the water and surrounded by so many fantastic restaurants and shops. It was the perfect place to relax and explore the area. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We can’t wait to come back and will definitely be staying here again!"

"Love the location. Great access to the park and walk around the town. Hotel is outdated but cleanliness. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mattresses are comfortable. Good air conditioning and water supply for shower. Utensils are not enough but you can request if needed. Had a great night stay."
