Family Trip

The Lee House was perfect for our large family. The house was clean, spacious, with plenty of beds. The Wife loved the open concept of the kitchen and long breakfast table. The kitchen had a large refrigerator and freezer, and there was a separate ice maker next to the wine fridge. The Lee House was in a private community only 5-8 min walk to the beach. House came with a golf cart which came in handy, you will definitely use it. Overall, completely satisfied. If you have a large family, this is your house.

Beautiful home, 3 minutes from the beach

The pictures do this home no justice! We had our children and grandchildren with us, 7 children, 3 in law, and 5 grandchildren and we had PLENTY of room! Property management checked in With me daily during our 3 night stay. Amazing home! Perfect for large groups!

Family trip

The Lee house was the perfect place for our extended family of 12. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Lots of places to walk to or to take the golf cart. We had the pool heated which was a good move as we used it a lot!! A wonderful family vacation!

Perfect vacation!

Great house! Our family of 23 had a ball! House clean and beautiful. The pool was perfect for small children during the day and for adults to relax in after dark. The golf cart came in very handy for running about the area. Staff very responsive!! Would definitely rent again if going back to Destin.

Birthday Trip

We booked the house for my husband's 40th birthday. Overall, we were really pleased. The house was big and provided ample space for everyone. We also loved that all bedrooms had en suites allowing each family to have their own bathroom. There were areas of the home that could have been cleaner. For example, some bathrooms were a tad bit dirty and the primary suite on the 2nd floor had a large spider web in the top corner of the room. The cookware was also lacking considering the size of the home. There was ample amounts of utensils and dishes, but not enough cookware for a house that accommodates 28 people.

My 60th Birthday Bash

I had 14 of my closest girlfriends meet me in Miramar Beach to celebrate my 60th birthday. We had a fabulous time! The Lee house was a perfect fit for all of us. The best part is they allowed us to check in a couple of hours early which worked out great. Walking into the Lee house took our breath away. It was so beautifully decorated and so spacious. The rooms were stunning and the amount of bathrooms was perfect. For the amount of people that we had, we never felt like we were on top of each other. The stairs were a little daunting, but by the end of our trip, we were in shape! LOL! We loved the openess of the kitchen and the supersize refrigerator! It was within walking distance to the beach, but the golf cart and the beach set up was a plus! However, we didn’t have the correct beach code to the gate, which was frustrating. But we asked other beachcombers and they gave us the correct code. The location of the Lee House was ideal as it was close to shopping, coffee houses, and a few restaurants. We had a fabulous stay and I couldn’t be happier with my selection. Thank you!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo and amenities were very useful. Kids really love of having access to the pool after a long sunny day at the beach. We recommend this unit to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in destin nearby the beach!"

Beautiful

My family of 13 really enjoyed our stay! Communication with the management was so easy and convenient. A few blocks away from the beach access, but a 6 passenger golf cart was included. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for the week.

Great stay

Everything was exactly as the pictures showed. Very spacious for a large group. We enjoyed the pool when we weren't at the beach. Whenever we had questions, we always received quick responses.

Nice house but ...

Property was nice but in a gated community. No access to beach directly in front of us, had to go 2 blocks down, 2nd floor of house air conditioning cannot keep up. Very warm. Back yard not big enough to accommodate the amount of people the house does. All in all it is a nice house but not our pick again.

Fire alarms going off, dirty

Destin review This is a nice home but was not as nice as the last VRBO homes I’ve stayed at. I will point we are charged for a cleaning fee for staying here and we had this filthy oven that was a fire hazard. We couldn’t do anything on it without alarms going off and also in morning waking up whole house. I also had to sweep and clean dirty bottom floor that was covered in sand. When we walked in front door the TV in living room was blaring loud and made me first think there was someone inside - but the cleaning crew left it on. When we got here - we felt like someone was in the house with the TV blaring. Water was lukewarm when shower ... Vent hood with grease dripping down from it - fire hazard. Which is what we all believed had the fire alarms going off every time we used that oven or cook top. Closet outside was a total wreck - we did not do that and have pics if u need for proof .. The oven has burnt food on burners in oven and when we used it - the fire alarms go off. It is not clean and I want u to know it's not us. Also floor coming in house filthy. You can hear feet walking around upstairs…. Top bunks are too close to ceiling Bunk rooms hot Smoke alarms go off when cook - even after they sent someone to clean filthy oven. They gave us wrong pool location and couldn’t get in. Texted them about it multiple times to find out finally 2 days left here they told us the wrong pool. AC quit working bottom floor. Hot and humid. I called it in and the lady told me to not set it to 70. To set 79 (under the 80 degrees we were at) and as the temp came down to go down a Degree at a time …. I told her that was not what I wanted to do and shouldn’t do. She then proceeded to look at our temps of rooms and saw not working - sent someone out and he fixed unit. Living room rug dirty. Chair dirty, stained, worn and have pics if needed and pics also sent to the VRBO management. .

Loved the beds and quick response from property manager

The beds are amazing and so comfortable. The house is very nice. There was 10 of us staying at the property. Pool is smaller than expected but loved the pool water temp. Definitely a must to pay for the hearing of the pool. Weather during our stay was rainy and cold, but with the heated pool the kids could still enjoy swimming in the pool despite the weather.

Great vacation. The Lee House is a lovely property and was nice and comfy even for 14 of us. The pool was smaller than expected, but the weather was too cool anyway. The awesome beach was only a golf cart away! Some rules were unclear, but management was very responsive via text. 14 adult friends who had a blast!

Very nice beach house! Would rent again!

Had a large extended family gathering and mostly positive feedback. While house says sleeps 28, should clarify that 10 of those spots are upper bunks or a sofabed best for younger kids. Our older teens were not comfortable on the upper bunks as they are close to the ceiling. The airflow in the bunkrooms is also bad and we had to buy fans to help cool those rooms but they were still warm & humid. Other small issues were dirty pots & not enough kitchen towels but the bath towels were nice and there were plenty for our group. The golf cart was awesome for our getting our elderly parents and younger guests to/from the beach. The bikes provided were too rusty to use and it is a shame they are not kept in a shed. The pool is small but was nice for those who tire of the beach. A few easy suggestions: a hose reel so people don't trip over the hose, an umbrella for the backyard table, and some felt pads for the dining chairs & stools as they are very loud moving across the floor. Also need more cookie sheets. The neighborhood was nice & we did not have issues with noise late at night.

Great house for multi families....very roomy. Loved the extras.

Did our annual family and friends vacation. We had 14 adults, one toddler and two babies. PLENTY of room. Very pleased with location, nice 3-5 min walk to the beach. Beautiful community. Definitely would rent again.

Beautiful Home

This is a gorgeous house with so many wonderful amenities! We were celebrating a 40th bday and had several couples staying - plenty of room for everyone. The second floor wasA LOT warmer than the rest of the house the first night but the management team was out there first thing the next morning to help with the problem. The management team was great throughout the stay. My only complaint was the check in process. We were supposed to have someone meet us at the property to let us in and that did not happen so we were at the property for 20 minutes waiting to get until we finally received a call/text with the code to the house. Also, there was no information left in the kitchen regarding wi-fi passwords, golf cart lock box codes or bike lock codes. However, once I texted the management team, they were quick to respond and brought all of the necessary information and booklets the following day. Overall - a wonderful stay at an absolutely gorgeous home!
