Oscar & Friends Retreat, nestled amidst nature, is a sanctuary of calm, designed to offer comfort and breathtaking views. The owner, an Army veteran, has thoughtfully incorporated touches of patriotism with US flags displayed throughout. Inside, the grandeur of 14-foot ceilings, shiplap walls, and blue and buggy pine boards, combined with knockdown-style sheetrock, creates a stunning yet cozy atmosphere. Modern Southwest decor and large windows flood the home with natural light, blending contemporary aesthetics with rustic charm.

Oscar, the owners' beloved rescued Cocker Spaniel, is not just a dog but a cherished family member. As lifelong fans of the breed, they treasure their time with him. Every trip to Home Depot in Blue Ridge becomes a heartwarming adventure as locals stop to share their cherished memories of cocker spaniels. This sense of community is one of the reasons they love it here.

The cabin sleeps eight featuring four bedrooms, each with a balcony. The layout includes a king master on the main level, a second king on the main level, a queen downstairs, and a third king converted from twins. The bathrooms are luxurious, with granite countertops, granite tile showers, and dual vanities on the main level.

The fully equipped kitchen is a chef's delight, boasting wood cabinetry, a convection oven, a refrigerator with an ice maker, a farm sink, a dishwasher, an air fryer, two coffee makers (Ninja upstairs and Keurig downstairs), a crockpot, and stainless steel appliances. A breakfast bar that seats four and a dining table for seven make family meals a pleasure.

The family room at Oscar & Friends Retreat features a gas log fireplace, a leather sofa, four upholstered armchairs, and cozy, dog-friendly rugs, including a faux cowhide. Ceiling fans in every room add to the comfort.

For entertainment, the game room is a favorite, offering board games, puzzles, a 9' shuffleboard table, and a sit-down arcade console with 512 games, including a Ms. Pacman-branded setup.
