The hotel is very well located about a 5 min walk to Nagasaki station. The room is quite large and has a hot plate and fridge. Free laundry by front door. Thr Nagasaki road seagull market at the station has many food options. There was a little glitch to get into the hotel the first time. If you push the clear/erase button first and then the * and code that they send you firmly, the door will open.

The hosts, Nana, and his wife were great. Another staff Miva, was super lovely. It's a good place for a solo traveler or couple to stay. It was convenient to walk to the train station, bus station, and many other dining places. I also had a good time talking to other guests. You get a private room though it is tiny. You can lock the door and go. I would stay again!

The hotel location is great. You can literally access all kind of restaurants or stores within walking distance. The tram station and bus stops are 5 minutes away. Breakfast (included with the room price) is wonderful. The hotel is also use for wedding receptions.

Hotel is 1.1 km walk from Nagasaki station. A bit of a walk with luggage or with children.
The street in front is at times busy, and there's space to park one car temporarily in front of the property to unload/load.
We stayed in room 202, in the Standard A room. In the room, I hardly heard any noise from above or below, or from the other second level rooms, though I'm unsure how occupied the hotel was. Hardly heard train or car traffic from inside the room.
Having a washer was nice, but...

Short 10mins taxi ride from Kumamoto Train station, costs around 10USD for the taxi ride.
Within walking distance to Kumamoto Castle, if walking is not your thing, you can take a taxi to the entrance of Josaien, which will lead you to the entrance of Kumamoto Castle as well. The taxi ride was around 5mins, and cost less than 6USD.
It is also a short 10mins walk to Tsuruya Departmental Store, and plenty of cute shops in the nearby shopping arcade as well.

Great location.
Nice location clean spacious nice shower kitchen checking in was little difficult for me . They never communicated with me about the password for entry the password was five digits . They sent me four . Putting the information into their I pad didnot go smooth either . Expedia communicated with me more than the property . Talking to them language was an issue and cut me off twice .
